Fond Memories!

We built this "beach house" the first summer in Atlanta. Both Bob and I agreed we needed to find salt water fast! We would spend weekends driving the Gulf Coast with"baby Nicole" looking for the perfect spot. Fast forward .... Ryan .. Sean ... babies at the beach as often as we could get away. As the kids got bigger... so did the beach toys. We went from sand pails and shovels ... to skim boards, water skies, wakeboards, etc. Now, storage is not in abundance here and Mom slowly lost her ground. Which leads me to the picture above. I walked into the storage area this morning and for the first time noticed the black spray paint lines. I remember taking a spray can and marking off "my territory" and heaven help anyone who placed something on my side of the line!! Only now do I realize ... how fun it would be to have them drop something there!!!!

Dilemma ... what to do with the kitchen???

I have been staring at this kitchen for the last two days doing everything else I can to avoid getting started. I just can't decide on what I want to do with the cabinets (all 24 doors!).

Now don't misunderstand, it's not that I don't have ideas .... I simply do not have the budget to match them! They are all prepped, and the handles removed .... and here I stand :(

Deep down, I guess I know this is going to be a BIG project .... hummmmm, maybe a Siesta at the beach to ponder some more !!!
