... and she gets the prize! The good news ..... that was really the only thing under there. And by the looks of it, he had been there a very long time! Case closed .... I can now stop my imagination from running wild at night!! Thanks Sean & Ashley :)

Ashley ... she amazes me .. she actually looked like she enjoyed the detective work!

... just about here, Sean told Ashley " no sudden moves"!!!!

Under the house adventure ...

Sen & Ashley visited for the weekend and asked for a "job". I told them that I simply wanted to see what was under the house! I have been thinking about this since the first day here but I could not bring myself to open the door and look!!! Might I add, Sean was just a little hesitant also!

The entrance ... spruced up a bit!

This was mostly motivated by self preservation! I do have to walk MaiTai in the dark before bed!!

A little clorox for the green mold and a can of Kills and what do you get? My dining set!!

Out with the old ....

Ahhhhh ... lunch break!

The sun comes up very early here, and the nights are long .... So I have decided that a "Noon Siesta" is a way to break up the day every now and then! The beach is as beautiful as ever!

I know the last thing I should be doing is furnishing the house.. however the nights were getting very long sitting on the porch rocking chairs! so this is my "Craigs list' find! Only problem ... without new cushions .. they are not much more comfortable than the rocking chairs!! Another project .....

MaiTai still thinks we should go back to Atlanta! This is her "not happy face". She missed Sean & Ash chasing her around the house!

My new BFF !!

How great is it to have a friend with plumbing talent? After 4 days of "turning on ... turning off" the water out on the street, my good friend Anyolina brought her husband straight from the airport to help. Makes you appreciate Indoor Plumbing !!

Day Two

It goes without saying that things got worse before they got better. Four years of the house being vacant left plenty of opportunity for the "natives' to move in. The owner of this snake skin met me outside the front door first thing in the morning. No .. i was not fast enough to get a picture of him! The good news ... no mice!!!
